Destiny Carter is a multi-faceted, creative entrepreneur living and working in Louisville, Kentucky. As a musician, DJ, multi-media artist, radio host, community artivist, flow artist, curator, and more, she specializes in bringing people together through the undeniable power of music, art, and movement.

Born and raised in the West End of Louisville, she began her music career as a trombonist. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.A in Arts Administration and a double minor in Trombone Performance and Spanish, and a Master’s graduate from Berklee Valencia, in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation, she uses her extensive music knowledge blending her jazz background with R&B, hip-hop, funk, soul, house and more to create unique sounds that foster togetherness, joy, and inspiration.

She is passionate about community and collaboration, and in her spare time enjoys working with her creative peers. In addition, being outdoors is when she is happiest – whether it’s dancing, yoga, or flow arts, creating from the heart, connecting with nature, and moving her body are integral to her peace, and expression in the world.
